Dear
Friends,
Well
folks, we lost. But as I look back on the campaign we ran in
the last eight months, I couldn’t be more proud of what
we were able to accomplish. I am honored that so many dedicated
their time and financial resources to our effort that allowed
our campaign to visit or call over 10,000 households in St.
Paul, Newberg, and Keizer.
We
defined a message about leadership that will leave a legacy
in this district. Leadership that overcomes partisanship and
politics. Leadership that holds values of faith and conviction
– like compassion, equality, kindness, and honesty. And
Leadership that is committed to healthy families, safe kids,
and a world that works for everyone.
As
we look forward to the future, we instill trust into our elected
officials to work hard, work together, and work towards a better
Oregon. It is time for us to work as Oregonians, not as Democrats
or Republicans, not as liberal or conservative.
Thank
you to everyone who supported my campaign, especially those
who contributed time or money. Your help has been instrumental
in helping us achieve many successes over the course of the
campaign and overcome the many obstacles we faced. I am proud
to have had a chance to work with you.
Sincerely,
Chuck
Lee
